Shopping! (private w Cedar)

Chris wasn't usually one to hang out in the shopping centres of New Rome. The macella were always crowded with families and groups of tweens hanging out around the fountains. But Stephen was right, they needed some new clothes - especially since a large chunk of Chris' were stolen two days ago by a German Hermes kid who refused to trade them back against anything other than 'a fuckton of Kinder eggs'.
The son of Ares had to admit it was nice to stroll through the marble arcades, holding Stephen's hand. The real reason they came to shop was prom. The party was coming up and Chris wanted to take Stephen out with him. Of course, this would be different to the previous times- they were both at uni, and the prom was more end of year bash than high school dance. Which was good - Chris didn't want to be Stephen's high school boyfriend. He wanted to be his man, take him out to bars, explore the coastland together on his motorbike, travel, chill on the beach. Everything out in the open. No more stolen kisses behind the armory.

"Hey, what about that one?" he said, pointing towards a row of crisp suits in one of the shops.
