Personality: Em is a natural born leader, confident and a great strategist. She is able to project her ideas and plans in a way which usually draws others to them. She is however often seen to be overly rational, with a belief that everything can be explained, every problem solved, every question needs an answer. This can make her frustrating to deal with at times. Emily adores a challenge, whether it be a physical or a mental one, she is always willing to volunteer to help or assist others. She is a firm believer that if given enough time and resources, every problem or challenge can be solved. A gifted negotiator and skilled diplomat, Emily is able to settle most of her problems with words rather than blows, after all a verbal debate is basically strategy. One of her greatest strengths is her attention to detail, making her talented in statesmanship and the field of  logistics, and she has always believed in making contingency plans. As a result of her attention to detail and skill at strategy, she is able to adapt to new tactics, threats and situations very quickly. Emily only ever does anything for a reason, even if to some she annoys them or angers them as a result. Though she may come across poorly to others, she does actually care about other people and believes  that anyone can rise to greatness through merit and ability instead of birth or wealth being indicators of it.
Flaws (three or more): Emily is not without her flaws, she is what some described as Crazy Prepared, this trait unfortunately causes some to see her as a control freak, paranoid and ambitious. Creatively sterile, though an excellent strategist, she will have difficulty adjusting to a new or unexpected strategy or situation, but once she faces something like that she will learn from and attempt to prepare for it in future. Her fatal flaw is ironically her strategy, Emily's obsessive need for control and orthodoxy meant her thinking was often predictable and rather inflexible. Some at camp, even among her own half brothers and sisters see Emily as an insufferable genius, partly this is due to her commenting on their own styles of fighting or in the case of her siblings strategy and that she could improve it, if they wished for her to help. Em either ignores or does not notice the feelings of others, focusing more on strategy, reason and logic, this can result in many growing annoyed with her and seeing her negatively. In spite of her skill in the mind, in combat Emily has not trained overly with any particular weapon set, making her a jack of all trades fighter rather than a highly skilled or masterful fighter with a particular weapon set. Sometimes Em will deliberately hold back a suggestion or an idea because she is afraid/concerned others might view her as an overachiever.

History (four sentences or more): Emily has been at camp for around nine years and tends to avoiding talking about that particular subject. She does have a good home life, regularly communicating with her father though rarely mentioning him or her past to other demigods. She has a reputation for both being incredibly clever and incredibly annoying at camp, partly due to her own fault. Her desire to improve upon things and solve problems has led to her commenting on the combat skills and strategies of others. If Em has noticed how others feel about her attempts to help she has given no sign of it.

Em did incredibly well at school and had few friends, except for a handful though her closest was a kid with crutches called Brian. She first discovered the truth about herself when a monster tried to attack her on the way home from school, and only survived thanks to the sudden arrival of her friend Brian. Yet... It was not him, at least not how Emily knew him, he was running and... And he was half goat? After managing to escape from the monster, they made it back to her house and Brian told her father what happened. Her father had known the truth about Emily and more importantly her mother, as well as the fact that the camp was keeping an eye on Em. Much as though he did not want to let go of his only child, he agreed with Brian the best place for Emily to go was camp.

It was difficult for Em to accept but at the same time it also made a great deal of sense paradoxically. The three started that same day on a rapid trip to New York. The gods must of been watching over her however, as they made it to camp without running into any more monsters. Emily said goodbye to her father before heading up the hill to go into camp, as her father returned home. The pair though sorrowful for parting from one another, said little and did not voice their grief. It was not in their nature to cry openly even with the most serious of things.

It would be a long time before either of them would see each other again, but they would manage to stay in touch.
