Yes, she doesn’t remember most of that time, but when Fig came to in 2015, she became obsessed with studying and learning history. She started with the time between 1864 and 2015, but then turned to all of history. She makes the big decisions that she makes based on research and the past. On an average day, Fig is calm, laid-back, and willing to go with the flow, but when things get hard, she closes her mind and becomes almost impossible to deal with. Generally speaking, Fig doesn’t make friends very well because she is hard to handle.

History:
Figueroth was born in Liverpool to Elisabeth Creighton on May 17th, 1852. She was believed to be the daughter of Elisabeth and her husband, an English shop owner named Henrik Creighton. She had two older siblings named Felicity and Jeremiah. Fig was an excited child who was prone to violent tantrums. She loved to spend time at her dad’s store with her siblings. She lived a normal life in mid-1800s England.

In 1860, a fire started in Henrik’s shop and burned it to the ground. Fig’s parents had been talking about their dream of moving to America for a while and starting a farm. So, in September of 1860, the Creighton family immigrated to Adairsville, Georgia. The bought a small plot of land and began to grow tobacco.

Originally, Georgia’s secession from the United States in 1861 didn’t have much of an effect on the Creighton family. They lived decently far from other people who grew the same crops they did and tended their own plot of land on their own. Elisabeth taught her kids everything from writing to sewing. She had all but forgotten about her triste that had resulted in Fig’s birth. To her, she was Henrik’s daughter. The family loved going into town together.

As the Civil War raged on, the Creighton family felt the war getting close to him. On Fig’s 12th birthday in 1864, the Confederate troops under the leadership of General Joseph E. Johnston retreated into Adairsville and took a stand there. On this Tuesday, the Creighton family had gone into town and found themselves in the middle of the battle. Henrik, Felicity, and Jeremiah were all shot and killed. Elisabeth fled with Fig. They didn’t even go home. Elisabeth wanted away from the war. They found passage west and left the war behind them. Unfortunately, Elisabeth and Fig found themselves being pulled into the lair of the Lotus-Eaters in July of 1864.

The next thing that Fig remembers is being in California in February of 2015. She was still dressed in the same clothes from 1864 and was still 12 years old. This is when her journey to camp began. The first thing that Fig did when she could was research Adairsville. She learned about the battle there and found her father, sister, and brother on a list of civilian casualties. This is where Fig’s study of history started, and it hasn’t slowed down since.
