Personality: Alfred isn’t the friendliest of times. It isn’t that he doesn’t want friends or he doesn’t want to talk to you it’s just that he enjoys being by himself and spending time working things out in his mind, almost as if he needs complete solitude. A lot of his traits he carries down from his father which is only because he was the only example he had growing up.

Despite being rather reserved and sometimes aloof and distant, he does care for people and will do what is asked of him if he has the time or will power to do it. He doesn’t have the heart to let people down, which is probably why he doesn’t allow too many people into his life to cause distraction. He enjoys reading his books and studying his father’s notes, anything else would be a mere distraction. He’s content having a couple people around him, but he tends to get amped up in crowds.

Alfie likes to have passionate filled and intellectual talks anything else is simply boring to him and if given enough time he will be blunt enough to tell you that. Even though he can be sweet and just a reserved kid, he does have a bit to him and he will not hesitate. He may feel a little awful afterwards, but he feels better having told the truth than to lie to someone’s face.

History: It was a cold November evening when there appeared to be a knock at the door of the little bungalow in the woods. It was a secluded place that not many knew of as Jakob usually liked to work on his different projects alone in solitude. No one or nothing to bother him unless it was an absolute emergency.

His various projects would range from different theses he had created up and was doing various studies, or simply he had different innovative ideas that he wanted to try and create. Jakob had a post secondary education which led to him having a degree in engineering. He was fascinated with the way things worked and would always be taking them apart until he created some of his own unique things. He wasn’t a very boastful guy, quite shy and timid actually, so he never really went around throwing his projects in the faces of many; It was simply just for his enjoyment.

When he finally shifted his papers away to go answer the door it appeared as if there were nothing in front of him. The man was a little spooked until he could hear the cooing and little gasps that begged his eyes to be pulled down to the two infants left in a basket at his doorstep. He surely was confused about everything, he didn’t remember really being around that many people, regardless he wasn’t the type of man to just leave two infants out in the cold, so he brought them in. Upon further inspection a note had been left and addressed to him, so obviously it was intentional.

The letter described everything that happened and everything that could happen in the future for the two twins. It was a process to try and wrap his head around, but he just tried to take it out of his mind entirely. Although he tried to understand the world it would always seem that the world was one step ahead of him and he would never get ahead, but to Jakob Thorsen that was all part of the great wonders of life.

From there the twins would always grow up celebrating their birthday on November 23rd with their father and their gift would always be a new skill to learn through the year. Of course early on those skills were walking and talking and just learning to be a human in general. Eventually those skills would grow into something more such as lock picking, endurance, climbing, and stealth. It never occurred to them why they would be learning such things, they were just fun activities and they never put the pieces together.

At age seven Astrid and Alfred lost their father. There was no trace of him to be found and no clue as to what happened, they were just on their own from that point on. They lasted for awhile off of the food in the house and they knew how to hunt for wild game on the property, but the winter months were hitting and food such as berries and vegetables would be scarce, especially up in Norway.

Astrid made sure the food was rationed out to what they needed to survive the maximum days. Alfred would make a map of the different hunting trails around the area and then eventually he made one for the road that got all windy. If they travelled approximately fifteen kilometers down the road, they’d hit another house, but it was at least eighty kilometers from any town that would be nearby.

It was then that Astrid knew learning to drive would be imperative. She began to use the keys to try and start her father’s car and by trial and error she eventually taught herself how to drive. Although, she was just an eight year old at the time and if anyone were to catch her she would surely be in trouble for it. That was when Alfred suggested they drive into town at night time to try and rummage through the streets and recycling for anything they could use.

Alfred in this time was learning to tinker much like his father would. He had a fascination with looking over his father’s life work and trying to figure out what had happened. Alfie enjoyed trying to make things work from nothing.

When the twins felt as if it were best for them to leave the safe haven they had, they packed plenty of rations, all the belongings they would want, their hunting gear, and all of their father’s notebooks and files he had on his work. At this point they were ten years old and they started to drive as far as they could go, before they collected the money they found in the house and bought a suitcase they could carry around with them from train to train.

Astrid ended up picking pockets on the trains they were on gathering as much coin as she could. They had to be able to keep going and would eventually travel over most of Europe. It was when they were eleven years old that they began to be chased around by something that had grabbed Alfie. Luckily he had his hunting dagger on him and he slashed at whatever it was. It was enough of a shock to be let go of.

The two ran into a satyr eventually who would help them get across the sea to their destination over outside of New York in America. At Camp Halfblood they were claimed as children of Athena and have resided there ever since.

2) who paid for the bills and all the two years their father was dead? Normally Id say suspension of disbelief, but that's a long gap but nothing to be paid without the government showing up.

1) He is caucasian, it should be in the form, I have it on my google doc. I was having a hard time with editing last night because every time I hit preview it'd cut off more than half my form and I had to keep putting it in, lol.

2.) They lived off the grid. They didn't really have electricity bills or anything like that. They had a well for water, hunted for food. They used solar panels to keep their freezer/fridge going. (it is possible that's how they do van dwelling) There really weren't any bills to pay.
