Personality: Upon meeting Fay, you are just another potential threat lunging at her. Your handshake? Basically a disarmed karate chop. Your smile? A facade put up to lull her into a lie of security. Your call demeanor? Do not insult her - a lion in the hunt is a calm predator, what makes you any different?

But if you pass her tests, the real Fay is revealed. The Opito Fay Dawes that saved the Second Cohort from a Legionnaire gone mad. The Legionnaire Fay Dawes that single-handedly took out the fourth cohort in a game of Deathball. The probatio Fay Dawes that took an arrow for her centurion.

You will see the bold, caring and loyal Fay that has been suppressed by the weight of her own paranoia. Trapped beneath layers of genetic and acquired mental issues lay the kind of person everyone said was a dead ringer to retire as Praetor.

But that, of course, never happened. Now she is that hair-triggered NRU student who keeps to herself and her books.

Abilities:

• Fay can sense conflict up to 150ft away; she can determine the reason for the conflict at 50ft away.
  

Powers:

• Stand Down: Fay is capable of pacifying up to four opponents for up to five (5) posts. The power is activated upon saying the Latin phrase Per ordine pax domine, concederet and has a six (6) post cooldown starting on the last post. It can be resisted.
  

Pets: She has two gerbils, Bonnie and Clyde. She keeps them in her dorm room.

History:
- Carter Dawes: Currently the security guard for several office spaces in Phoenix, Arizona, Carter Dawes is a loving father who only wanted to do the best for his girl. He met Pax back when he was a club bouncer in the 1990s, having a one night stand with the disguised goddess of peace. Upon receiving Fay in a cradle of gold Carter knew he had to make sure his Fay would grow into the best woman she could be. He has looked into moving to the Bay Area to be closer to her, but the money has never really been there.

- Fay Dawes: A troubled girl in her youth, Fay was always the one to throw the first punch when trouble would come. At age 10 Lupa’s pack came for her, and the wolves turned the troubled Fay into a battle ready Roman. After making it to Camp Jupiter and being sorted into the Second Cohort for fighting off monsters at the gate, Fay was claimed by Pax.
- Within her first year she sacrificed her health to protect her centurion, earning Legionnaire status for the act. In 2014, after her promotion to opito, she began a very well documented relationship with Third Cohort Legionnaire Dean Basilone. The two of them would go on a quest to retrieve the Rose of Venus in 2016, a quest that would spell doom for their relationship. Dean lost interest in her upon returning to camp, and his frequent gaslighting about their romance combined with the increasingly stressful opito tasks drove Fay into a mental breakdown.
- Fay was held in the Camp Jupiter infirmary and was transferred to Julius Caesar Memorial Hospital’s psych ward, being released in the spring of 2017. Due to the collapse of her mental state (and despite it’s apparent stability) she was honorably discharged from the legion with only eight years completed.
- She currently studies contemporary warfare tactics at New Rome University as a sophomore.
