Personality: Delilah Lockwood is the youngest of two daughters and it really doesn’t show. Delilah isn’t the rebellious teenage daughter with lenient rules, she’s quite the opposite. She’s the sister who adhered to all of her dad’s insane rules. The ones about curfew, the ones about not having anyone enter the home unless they were blood related or there to teach them something. She’s the one who obeyed rules despite always secretly wondering what life would be like to just not do what was asked of her for once.

The young girl is a curious and adventurous girl. She has questions and she the spirit to wander and find new things and explore new land. Delilah has suppressed a lot of these things and doesn’t speak much out of turn if she can help it, she tries to follow the path of God like her father set out for her to do.

Another side to her is her creative personality, Delilah loves to create things and she likes to plan out creating things. She’s an avid pianist and writer. One of her goals is to one day be a journalist, but one thing that lifts up Delilah’s soul more than anything is playing musical instruments, although she’s the best at piano as she had been taught by Nancy Maddox. She has even gone as far as to have her own youtube channel, that’s how much she loves to create content. When she was younger Delilah could be seen planning birthday parties out for everyone, and she loves being organized almost to a fault.

More on the point about being organized to a fault, Delilah is the type of person who had multiple notebooks that have their own dividers in them and she even has her pages colour coded in different pens. Delilah loves to plan and she loves to have everything in order, when it’s not she can usually force herself to go with the flow, but she can easily slip into her anxiety again, which is why it’s easier to just have a big sense of control on everything.

Height: 5’4”, Delilah is on the shorter side of things as well as just on par with the average height.
Skin tone: Fair skin complexion with a hint of a tan every now and then. Depends how long she’s out in the sun for. She’s on the darker side of fair for sure.
Ethnicity: English/Caucasian. Delilah’s grandmother is from North Yorkshire.
Body structure: Delilah has a slender and slightly curved body, but for the most part she’s got long limbs. (Yes you can still have long limbs for being 5’4”)
Personal Appearance: Soft features is what you notice first about the five foot four standing girl which really ties into her personality. Delilah has deep brown eyes that match the dark brown hair that she has which contrasts her slightly fair skin tone that she has. The daughter of Epione has longish limbs for a girl her height and is quite slendered.
Scars/tattoos/piercings/etc: Delilah has two parallel scars on her back. They always look like they’re just about to be healed over or fresh. That is where her angel wings come out of. She doesn’t actually use them often, but every now and then she does have to bring them out otherwise it’ll hurt if she lets the skin grow over it. Also on her back she has a bunch of scars from where parts of her skin had been burned off with chemicals. Delilah has two ear piercings, where she usually only wears studs. The one shocking thing most people probably don’t know about Delilah because it was her one moment of defiance is that she has a belly button piercing. She went with Juliana who had convinced her to do something for herself for once.
Clothing Style: The daughter of Epione has the typical clothing style you’d expect her to have. She has a bunch of floral dresses, cardigans, sweaters, leggings and jeans. Delilah hasn’t been known to wear too revealing things in the past, but ever since she’s had a bit more freedom her and her older sister have been purging some of her closet and they’ve been trying to give her a new start and went shopping for a new kind of wardrobe while still keeping close to Delilah’s style. She still has some floral summer dresses, but some of them come in v-necks and spaghetti straps, or some of them have the cut out holes in the front or open backs. She’s got a variety of shorts and jeans now, although Delilah could never do ripped jeans, they just didn’t look right. She’s got more blouses and she even has a select few crop tops, but they found some high waisted pants or skirts to pair with them, so it didn’t show much skin. They made sure to keep it simple and to something Delilah would like to wear.

Delilah will always style her hair in a few different fashions, she’ll either pin back to sections in the front, or she’ll have her hair up in a ponytail, or she’ll leave it straightened down or curled down. Sometimes with a half up and half down style.

As for jewelry Delilah likes to wear necklaces the most. She does not really care for bracelets or rings too much, but necklaces have always meant a lot to her. Delilah has a family heirloom from her aunt for whom she’s partially named after. It was a jeweled pendant on a silver chain, with a little silver bit attached to the top that had the engraving of an ‘A’ on it. The jewel was an aquamarine. It was passed down to Delilah eventually as she was the only other Lockwood that had a birthday in March. Now there’s a similar little silver piece attached that has a ‘D’ engraved on it.
Other details?: Delilah can be seen sitting cross legged a lot or she can be seen with her ankles crossed while she sits. The legacy of Cupid also hates going to bed with dirty feet so she typically washes her feet before bed and puts a clean pair of socks on.

Abilities (doesn't use energy to do): Pain Killer Touch - With a single touch Lilah can help soothe another person’s pain. Her hands are always warm and filled with a healing touch. It doesn’t heal anyone by any means, it just helps soothe their pain and let it ease into something more bearable.
Paper cut/scratch be gone bygone(wait what?) - With small cuts or scratches Lilah is able to heal these up without suffering from energy loss. Have a cat scratch that stings? She can help heal that for you!
Rose Coloured Glasses - Delilah can make people see her in rose coloured glasses. It doesn’t really change their view of her so much, but they can imagine themselves with her or they can imagine themselves dating her or feeling attracted to her. It is easily resistible and non binding. It takes no energy as it is more of an aura she has rather than something she willingly does. She has no control over it.
Powers (uses energy to do):Fight or Flight? Always Flight - Due to being a legacy of Cupid Delilah has one pass down especially since her own father has it too. She is able to bring out her wings which are pure white in colour and they just surpass her arms length. Lilah can fly up to a height of twelve feet with ease, anything higher puts too much strain on her body and could make for serious errors. If she is carrying a person she can only reach a make height of eight feet and can only withstand flight for as long as she can hold the person (Which is fairly low chances as she doesn’t have a lot of body strength.)

Her flight duration while solo flying can last for up to two hours before she has to stop and recharge. It drains a lot of energy out of the demigod to the point of exhaustion, dehydration, and muscle cramping. Symptoms can be a lot more severe if she were to push her luck any farther.

Healing, that’s it no fancy name here - The demigod can also heal certain wounds. She is not a miracle worker and she can’t heal things that would be impossible. It takes a lot of energy but if she focuses on big wounds she can start to close some of the tissue and layers of skin back together to cease bleeding out to death, but she can’t recover the full wound, it’d need medical attention whenever possible. Lilah can basically buy people more time.
Advanced Healing - This is something Delilah doesn’t know she can do, but if her emotions are intense enough she can harvest that big surge of energy to do mass healing, but it makes her massively weak in the knees, makes her dehydrated, dizzy and nauseated. Delilah is at risk for fainting in this case. She can only use it once per thread. Its limits are unknown but some of its drawbacks are also unknown especially if she can’t figure out she has this ability and she can’t control it.
Weapon: an imperial gold sabre.
Pets (if any): Bernese Mountain dog named Bear. He is 7 years old. Delilah has had Bear since she was a ten year old girl and he has been her best friend since then. She will not go anywhere without him and often times you can see him wearing purple bandannas to fit in with everyone else wearing purple shirts.

History: William Lockwood was a twin when he was born. He had a twin sister named Adelaide Lockwood. The two of them growing up were the type of twins that would fight with each other constantly and they never got along which made Helena Lockwood’s job incredibly difficult. Helena eventually had to put her foot down and tell her children how their family dynamic would work and if they didn’t like it they could try to fend for themselves. Helena is a ruthless woman who is not afraid to do controversial things if it means the wellness of her family, yet ironically she was always lenient with Adelaide. Helena wanted her daughter to feel empowered and have this sense of girl power and independence.

William and Adelaide would go train for Lupa around the same time, except for the fact that Adelaide was out in a week and William was out in three weeks. Adelaide was placed in the first cohort meanwhile William got placed in the second cohort, but not all was lost. It was the second cohort where William would meet his long life bro, Sam Reid. They were the type of guys that didn’t take their work so seriously a lot of the time, they were more focused on how many girls they could get and sneaking into bars when they were teenagers. When they were young adults they grew apart for a little bit as they began to do their own things.

William worked out in San Francisco for a while as he decided to go into a business degree there. It was in this time that he met the most gentle and caring woman he had ever met. He started a long term relationship with her and he was even ready to propose to her but no time ever felt right, he knew she didn’t want marriage, but he always hoped she’d change her mind. Especially after they had two daughters together, but even after Juliana was born his girlfriend wasn’t around that much. Eventually Delilah was born and at that point his girlfriend left him for good.

William moved back home to New Rome and he reunited with his best friend Sam Reid. They started a real estate company together and eventually bought plots of land next to each other and had their own homes built that they could raise their own little families in. They didn’t have wives to help them out, so instead they just had a lot of joint family events from time to time with William’s daughters and Sam’s sons.

Meanwhile that was Wiliam’s experience with the legion and growing up, there’s one piece of his life he doesn’t talk about a lot. That would be his twin sister Adelaide. Adelaide was a very independent and driven woman. She didn’t take no mind of William’s antics with Sam and focused on what she wanted to do. She was cohort 1’s medic and she was one of the best medics they ever had. She was on various combat missions and her name was well known within the first cohort and still is to this day. She worked her way up to Centurion in her ten years of service that she completed unlike her brother.

You see by this point William was gone, but Adelaide had become praetor of the camp after her service. Adelaide had gone out on a mission that she was leading as praetor, and she just never came back. There was no trace of her disappearance and her file would eventually become a cold case. There was no sign she was ever there, and when William heard the news he did his best to ignore it, pretend it didn’t happen. He’d always hope that one day she’d just show up at his doorstep.

It was from there that William decided he wouldn’t raise his daughters how his sister was raised. He wanted to protect his sister but he couldn’t so at least now he could protect his own daughters. He just began to shelter them by trying to give them everything they could have wanted in their own house, making them not want to leave and he began making rules that no one could enter their house, it was their safe haven. Sadly he hadn’t been as good at it with Juliana as she kept wanting to be more and more independent like most of the Lockwood women were before her. Delilah on the other hand, he could still save. He began to instill the ideas of Christianity in her and hoped it’d protect her enough even when he wasn’t around.

Delilah Lockwood grew up rather sheltered, but she had a fun childhood of playing clue, monopoly, scrabble and battleship. She also grew up with TV shows and movies, but her father also made sure to give her other transferable and ticket skills that would look good anywhere. He had her learn two different languages and taught her different aspects of literature and music. He did however lack on teaching her sports and physical activity and at this point she trips over her own two feet.

The daughter of Epione’s first friend was Lachlan Reid. He was her next door neighbour and her dad’s best friend’s son that was about her age. They spent a lot of time together playing games and watching movies, it was only natural to them. They spent a lot of time together due to their dad’s. They did Christmas together and any other holiday they wanted to celebrate really. They had the backyard barbecues and sometimes breakfast on sunday mornings. That was until Sam Reid got too busy to attend things, and William would only check in on Sam’s sons from time to time, but even then William began to remove himself from the equation.

The second friend little Delilah would make would be Skye Maddox. They have known each other since the age of seven years old. They would end up having sleepovers all the time and sing different Jonas brothers songs along with whatever else it was they wanted to do. Their circle would eventually grow to include Monroe Vallas.

Much to Delilah’s dismay, Kirsten Tanaka joined their group, she was mean and Delilah didn’t care for her much, but she never even bothered to get to know her too much. The last to join their group would be the one and only Tieghlur Nolastname. He was the super odd ball of the group, but Karen Nolastname would not accept anything less than for her son to be included, so that turned into everyone picking on Tieghlur and him being a little oblivious. Although when they were kids, Tieghlur wasn’t the worst in the world.

Around thirteen would be the age the group would start to fall apart and just grow apart in general. Delilah joined camp when she was about eleven years old. Lupa seemed to see something in her that she would fail to see every time. She was quickly placed into the fifth cohort based on her father’s suggestion. He wanted her to be protected and he didn’t want her to have to play next to the big boys, otherwise she could have ended up in the same cohort as her sister did.
A Memory: Delilah was about eight years old and her sister Juliana was eleven years old. The two of them were close and they just spent a lot of time together. They were in the backyard of the Lockwood house. The same backyard with the little gazebo in the back corner by the pond with the little bridge going over the little stream that ran through their yard and into said pond.

Around them there were various flowers placed in the gardens, such as hyacinths, snow drops and Delilah’s favourite, lilies. Delilah had grown up adoring lilies as flowers and would always be seen talking to them in the garden, but today she’d be talking to a different kind of flower, one she looked up to so dearly, Juliana.

Jules was her older sister by about three years. She adored her and looked up to her, she was incredibly talented and smart and Delilah just always wanted to be like her. Not to mention Juliana was in the legion already and she desperately wanted to be in there with her.

“What’s it like?” The eight year old would wonder with big eyes.

“It’s kind of strict sometimes, like dad can be.” Juliana would reply.

“And you’re in the second cohort?”

“Yes, and someday you will be too.” Jules said resting her hand on Delilah’s shoulder.

“Do you really mean it? I feel like dad doesn’t want me to go into the legion.” Delialh spoke softly.

“I think he just worries about you Lilah.” She said before standing up. “Okay, enough of that though, we’re still kids sooo…” The blonde trailed off before she’d tap her sister and run away saying, “Tag you’re it!”

“Hey!” Delilah would exclaim as she chased after her sister in the garden, but never really could catch up to her.
