Laure is almost always moving and always active. She hates sitting still, it may be because of her 'ADHD'. She loves an adventure or a good story, and loves to have fun. Laure is diplomatic and knows how to take care of conflicts when needed, but if someone goes against something or someone she cares about, she's passionate and will do anything to prove said person wrong- maybe even go past that and harm them. Laure enjoys showing off her skills- she's not the most modest person when it comes to competition.

Flaws:
-extremely competitive to the point where she will hold a hard grudge after losing anything
-not very social or very open to new people
-fear of the dark (shh, don't tell anyone!)
-easily angered

Eye color:
Heterochromatic. One eye is light green, while the other is a dark hazel. This is an insecurity of hers, causing her to opt for wearing green contacts so her eyes both match. Not many people know of both the different colors in her eyes.

Hair description:
Laure's hair is a dark, rich chocolate brown. It's thick and strong hair, but is typically in messy waves. Most of the time she chooses to put it into a french braid. She is complimented for her hair and it's one part of her physical appearance she is extremely proud of.

Skin tone:
Naturally light skin that has further been tanned due to her constant outdoor activities. She has a slight spray of freckles on her face that only show up in colder weather or when her skin lightens.

Ethnicity:
Hispanic, of Venezuelan origin. She doesn't completely appear that way, since Nike's 'human' appearance did not have darker skin.

Body structure:
Laure has an athletically lithe build, like that of a gymnast or dancer. She isn't well muscled, but she's fit in a lean sort of way. She's petite, but stronger than she appears to be.

Other details?:
She has a scar above her left eyebrow due to an Empousai attack that caused her to flee to Camp Half Blood. She also typically wears the orange camp half blood shirt with jeans. Often, she is also seen wearing wreathes of plants on top of her head, to the dismay of Demeter cabin children.

Powers:
-Laure has a strange connection to weapons in the sense that when she has one, she almost at once knows how to use it in a skilled manner. Of course, she still needs practice, but she doesn't require instruction.
-She also has a 'feeling' off the weapon's past, and can take a reading of the emotions associated with its past owners. This reading, however, drains her energy.
-She almost has a sense of what exactly she has to do to win, almost as if she has a control over her own luck. She knows how to strike next. This only happens when she is in battle with someone she knows to some extent.

Pets:
She doesn't have any at camp, but as a child she had a pet dog.



History:
Laure is the daughter of Nike and Brad Villarreal, a professional football athlete. She had lived in Oakland, California for her whole life until she had to flee. In her very early years she didn't have any problems, but as soon as she turned ten it began. Her father told her about her mother when Laure's affinity with weapons began to act up in school, and he sent her to Camp Half Blood to stay safe. The night before she left, a woman visited her father. She introduced herself to Laure and that was the first time Laure met her mother, Nike. Nike and Brad decided that she should be kept safe, and that the camp was the best bet. She's been there since she was twelve. She has four beads on her necklace.
