Personality: Ara is a precious cinnamon roll. She is a very caring and soft-spoken person, just wanting to make everyone happy. With her goal to make others happy and be at peace, she's very stubborn on it. She is extremely selfless and puts others before her - to the point to where she neglects her mental health and even physical health at times, even putting herself in danger.
However, she is a clumsy human being. She's not the most graceful of creatures, but her clumsiness can be charming/adorable.. or annoying and a burden. She's also a major over-thinker, confuses herself often, and rather sensitive. She struggles with anxiety (which is what the overthinking is linked with). She's a very sociable person, but can be a bit of a wallflower at major events (like parties). Large crowds can overwhelm her - if she's in the middle - and too much stress can equal a breakdown along the road (especially if she bottles up her feelings). Though the littlest things can trigger her anxiety, she does her best to keep it to herself in fear that she'll annoy others. Her problem (one of them) is that she's a people pleaser. She doesn't want to make anyone hate her or annoy them. So, she'll wear a smile and act as if everyone's fine.
She needs to learn that she can't make everyone happy and that she doesn't need to be everyone's therapist. She needs to learn more about self-care.

Due to being the daughter of the Underworlds Queen, she also has Necromancy, but it's extremely weak and hasn't 'awakened' yet. Overall, a lot of her power has to do with her emotions. When feeling strong emotions (regardless of what it is) her hair will suddenly grow. It can get be out of control at times, causing an entire cabin to be covered in flowers or accidentally turning a shoe into a house plant.
Of course, big transformations or controls can weaken her. The longer she uses hefty amounts of power, the weaker she gets physically, mentally and magically. It can cause her to pass out as well, but she is still being trained to avoid all of that.

Pets: None. However, she does get along with a lot of the animals in the camp/in the woods and loves animals.

History: Ara never knew her actual parents. She was born in Seoul, but was put into adoption shortly after birth. Luckily, she didn't stay in the system for long. Babies of course are high-demand for adoption. She ended up getting adopted by the Llyang family - an upper-middle class Korean family. The Llyang family were second generation immigrants that had problems with conceiving, so resorted to adopting. They love Llyang wholeheartedly and did whatever they could to make her happy and comfortable. They of course taught her the mannerisms and traditions of Korea, as well as the language.
Ara has the usual struggles of not knowing her parents, growing up and of course public school. She's been used a lot and has allowed people to walk all over her. Her fear of being annoying to others stemmed from former friends throughout her middle-school years - she talked quite a bit and was rather random. Her anxiety began to pop up towards the end of middle-school as well, of course that being hard to cope with at first - and it still sort of is.
Suddenly, her parents were taking her to this camp. They were pale-faced and solemn. Ara was thoroughly confused as to why and they wouldn't answer her. It left her fretful. All they said is that they couldn't say anything and she'd learn soon.. Her parents had noticed how her hair would grow to incredible lengths in a sort amount of time and how flowers would randomly appear throughout the house. They contacted a "doctor" about it - actually a mythical creature from the Camp of course - they let them know the truth about their adopted daughter. The couple was torn about losing their daughter, but didn't want her to get hurt either. They were also conflicted with the fact she's a demi-god.
Ara arrived at the age of 13, it being a tearful departure from her family and everything she knew.
