Rowan isn’t really what you would expect from a child of Aphrodite. Yes, she is quite obsessed with her looks, mainly because she’s worried about how other people view her. Rowan is compassionate and she tries really hard to be there for anyone even if they have had issues in the past. She has a really hard time trusting people but she tries to. Rowan isn’t very outgoing and likes to spend time with people that she knows. When she’s around a new person she’s shy but after she warms up a bit she can be quite annoying and hard to keep quiet. Rowan can come off as nosy, which she doesn’t mean to be she’s just really curious about. . . everything.

History:
Victor Laurent was born on April 6th of 1977. He was born and raised in Senlis, France. When he was 15 his family immigrated to the United States and moved to Augusta, Maine. He moved out of his parents house at 18 and moved to Castine, Maine. Victor met Aphrodite on a trip to visit relatives in Europe in 2001. He quickly fell in love with her and Rowan was born. After Aphrodite left Rowan in Victor’s care, he focused on making Rowan’s life as easy for her as possible.
Rowan did indeed have it fairly easy. However her relationship with her father wasn’t that great. Not that he was mean to her, they just barely talked. Rowan was left alone at home most of the time with her dad being a workaholic. When she was 12 she finally asked her dad about her mom. Victor told her as best as he could knowing she wouldn’t quite understand it. A few weeks later Rowan met a satyr who brought her to camp.
