Personality
- Dean attempts to maintain a professional appearance while on duty by attempting to be level headed and hear out what is at stake. While disobedient legionnaires can do their best to give him an aneurism, Dean would prefer calmly defusing the situation than resolve it via ordering the legionnaire off.
- When around friends and acquaintances Dean is more open about being emotional. Feeling like he can “be himself,” Dean will make the full range of his feelings available.
- Dean has a history of being particularly unhinged in combat. While this clashes with every other aspect in his life, he attests that this is due to his power’s unusual side effect. This unsavory behavior, along with a fear of losing people who are allied with him, led Dean to adopt a hesitant stance toward physical combat.

Worldview
- Dean sees his position in the legion as a way to influence change for the better. In the third cohort, he has done his best to create an open atmosphere by treating the legionnaires as constituents rather than subjects and listening to their questions and opinions.
- Dean is quick to a “safe” solution to conflicts, preferring a diplomatic resolution to a martial one.

Powers (uses energy to do): Security, Roman Style - Dean has the ability to boost the confidence for those within a fifteen foot (15ft) radius around him for three (3) posts. However, this only works for nine (9) characters at the highest, has a four (4) post cool-down per affected character, is not limited to allies (enemies can have their confidence boosted if the power is used in battle), can lead to shifts in mood after one use and can cause fainting if used too much

History (four sentences or more):
- Joe Basilone: Insurance agent in Detroit, Mich. Met Securitas at a bar while drunk. Currently lives in suburban Detroit with Dean’s stepmom and stepsister.

- Dean Basilone: Recruited by Lupa’s wolves at age 10 and made it to camp by age 11. Despite lacking letters, he was sponsored into the third cohort by a centurion who was the sibling of a friend from the wolf house. In summer 2016 Dean went on a quest to recover an artifact with a son of Mars and daughter of Pax. Dean and the Pax daughter took over leadership roles after the Mars son failed to show meaningful leadership skills. The quest team returned successful, and Dean was promoted to Centurion two years later.
