Normal Nick wants to be everyone’s friend. If someone catches his eye he will not hesitate to start a conversation about anything. So long as he has your attention, he will go on until stopped.

Jazz Nick is a laser focused electric bass virtuoso. Jazz Nick is equal parts perfectionist and mad scientist, attempting to turn any mistake into a new chance to show off his bass skills. Jazz Nick does not take kindly to distractions, but will gleefully throw “The Lick” into a set to mess with his band mates.

Normal Nick is a friend who can be called on to help out with anything from moving furniture to slaying monsters.

Jazz Nick is that guy with a bass who you can call on, but is so cocksure that he’ll probably turn a meticulous rehearsal of “Giant Steps” into an hour long “Lick” s***post.

History (four sentences or more):
Born to Georgetown music theory professor Laurel Mills, Nick grew up surrounded by music - especially more freeform and experimental music. After a childhood filled with the most academic music a 13 year old can handle, Nick was gifted an electric bass and sent to a youth conservatory summer camp in Baltimore, Maryland.

Despite being one of the most prestigious conservatories on the eastern seaboard, it was a waste of time to the virtuoso Mills. While everyone else was struggling to play slightly advanced standards, Nick was dropping into nightly jam sessions with the councilors. This gap in skill isolated him from most of the class, except for the horn-playing, beanie wearing, wheelchair bound Sam.

Around August, Nick and Sam were out getting some lunch when they were attacked by a pack of Lamiae. The two booked it, but after falling out of his wheelchair, Sam the Satyr was forced to spill the beans on Nick’s celestial parentage. Once free of the snake people, the two hightailed it to Camp Half-Blood. The night of arrival, he was claimed by Apollo and sorted into his siblings’ cabin.
