This was the kind of life that his father wanted to cultivate for him and his brother, Augustine.  Living in New Rome was was what made Lachlan who he was. He shared his life with the other rich members of the community. Lachlan developed a feeling of his own importance, and that only grew as he got older. He was the son of the famous talent agent Sam Reid. That made him important. That’s the energy that Lachlan carried into his life.

History:
Lachlan was born in New Rome, the son of Sam Reid and Fama. This instantly put him into New Rome’s high society. Lachlan was steered towards certain people, even at a young age, both by his father and his older brother, Augustine. Augustine became Lachlan’s role model at a young age. Augustine shielded Lachlan from the bluntness and genuine negligence by Sam Reid as best as he could, but his father’s message slowly got to Lachlan: He’d never be good enough.

When Lachlan was young, he became friends with the people who lived in his neighborhood: Skye, Delilah, Kirsten, Monroe, and Tyilher. This was when Sam Reid let Lachlan and Augustine take over their guest house as a group hangout space. The Reid house quickly became the place to be and only boosted Lachlan’s ego.

It was always Lachlan’s destiny to follow in Augustine’s footsteps. So, when he started his camp journey and joined the second cohort he was on the right track. At camp, Lachlan met the two people who would have the most effect on him outside of his childhood: Oliver and Caroline. Lachlan thrived at camp. He grew in popularity and inserted himself into the thriving party scene at Camp Jupiter. He never forgot where he was from, but never let that hold him back.
