Personality: Claire is the kind of girl that when you first meet you’re a little unsure of. She can seem like the goody two shoes daughter of Jupiter that was probably on student council at one point. It wouldn’t be a totally wrong assumption, she loves things to be in an orderly fashion, and things have to have their place, but at the same time she adopted a little be of rebellion from her mother. She believes rules can be bent or broken eveyr now and then, as long as no one gets super harmed or maimed in the process.

Claire loves to organize things and honestly she’s probably the reason proms are planned and go off without a hitch, she has flawless planning. She can lose her cool quite a bit though, when she’s trying to plan something she tends to take on the entire workload for herself to do and doesn’t like to divide and conquer. She’s very independent in that aspect.

Growing up with her grandparents she was used to having to be poised, so she comes across as one of those kids who went to prep school, because she did. She has that sense of ‘I’m better than you’ but at the same time she’ll throw curve balls at you. This girl knows how to do things that most prep school kids wouldn’t do. She could to live in both worlds of super rich people and super poor people. She knows how to pick locks and get into places she shouldn’t be and she knows how to steal a car.

Claire is easily rebellious and if you peak her interest with an idea she will be your ride or die in it. She loves a sense of danger, she loves to go against the things she was taught to do. The daughter of Jupiter would love to break from the chains that hold her down and force her to be something she isn’t.

Electrifying Weapons - She can summon lightning bolts with any weapon she’s holding and it charges her weapon. (Much like Thor with his hammer but less power.)
Powers: Aerokinesis;
Flight - Claire can fly up to twenty feet off the ground, it takes some focus and just like walking or anything she has to be able to balance herself. If she goes too long she will start to get bad nausea. It can last for about three posts, and have a cool down of five posts. Usually to help gain sugar and energy back she’ll take some ambrosia.
Air Waves - Claire is able to disrupt radio waves in the air with her own air waves she sends out into the atmosphere. This takes major focus and can cause headaches or even migraines. Another drawback is that it can make her a little beacon for monsters in the area to know her location. She can use it for three posts and has a four post cool down.
Deoxygenation - The daughter of Jupiter is able to take the oxygen particles out of a certain radius of air which would basically make people suffocate. She creates a three foot radius around the individual, she can do this to a group of monsters of about four or less. It drains her energy, which can leave her with shaky knees, or feeling light headed. It could potentially lead to her fainting. She can only use it once in a thread. She is aware of her power.

Electrokinesis;
Static teleportation - Claire can make a static electricity charge with her own body and another object nearby. With that she can teleport herself with the other object. If she does this with enough objects nearby, she can teleport around in a flash. She has a ten second cool down for the first 100 charges in a day, after that it takes about thirty seconds for a cool down. It can be used in 4 consecutive posts with a 3 post cool down.
Static shock - Claire can create static charge shocks with her hands. It can range from just a normal shock to a shock that’s meant to restart your heart. At its strongest she can only use it three times in a post, but it has a three post cool down.
Self Lightning bolt - Claire can charge her body with energy just as electrons would get charged to make static electricity. With the surge of energy she uses the strength of the energy to send herself to the atmosphere as a discharged energy. From there she comes down like a lightning bolt striking her opponent/monster. This can cause physical strains on her body whenever she uses it, and sometimes tear ligaments. It can be extremely painful, other times she's lucky enough to just end up with some bruises or nothing at all. She can use this once per post, but after that there's at least a four post cool down.
Thunderstorm Summon - She can summon a thunderstorm even in the dead of summer with the sun out and shining. She can only do this once per thread, but it’s a bad thunderstorm, and sometimes can be afflicted with her moods.

History: Diane Walton is the daughter to Charlotte and Percival Walton. Charlotte was that traditional house wife and stay at home mother. She was good at baking or sewing your clothes back together. Charlotte played the role of wife and mother easily as she slipped into her role quite well. She raised the children that her and Percival had together, and coming from a rather religious family they didn’t believe in contraceptives at the time. The pair ended up with seven kids in total.

Their children being born in the order of Sebastian, Theodore, Thompson, Selene, Heath, Jeremiah, and Diane. Being born in a family where you were told what to do and when to do it made it hard for Diane to follow. She hated the rules and she felt that rules were always made to bend and break. They tried to rein her in a few times with giving her activities to do, they taught her piano and violin as well as keeping her busy with learning new languages.

They were only temporary things as Diane got better at doing what she did. At the age of seventeen though she ended up getting pregnant with this guy she met at a party one night. They spent a lot of time together up until she got pregnant and a little bit afterwards. He convinced her to keep the baby, and said they would raise the child together, and poor naive Diane fell for his coaxing words, because as one could guess six months after Claire was born he would leave and never be seen or talked to again.
Diane’s parents Charlotte and Percival were disappointed in her and refused to help her. She broke the rules and made a mistake the warned her of. That left the seventeen year old on her own to raise her daughter by herself. Eventually she was taken in by one of her friends’ parents and they gave her a place to rent for cheap while she got a job to support Claire.

Claire has fond memories growing up with her mother, she remembers being taught how to play the piano and the violin any time they got the chance to use the instruments at the place they were staying in. It was around the age of six when Diane realized that something was wrong with Claire, she didn’t have the money to help her at the time, it would cost way more than she could have ever afforded on her own.

Diane’s parents gave her an out, saying they would help her out if they were given full custody over Claire. This made Diane angry, she tried to do everything that she could to get the money she needed, but she could only ever get a part of it. That was when Diane bartered, that she would get to have her daughter on weekends. If they paid for her medical bills with part of what Diane had to offer, they could raise her for five days a week.

Surprisingly enough her parents accepted the offer. That was when Claire was put into private school and was being built up to go to Ivy League schools. They put her in various lessons for various different things to try and find what she was good at, but they also wanted to diversify her application to Yale. The family had been going to Yale for centuries, and they wanted their granddaughter to follow in their footsteps.

On the weekends Claire would get to spend time with her mother who was by far her favourite person. Diane was good at playing devil’s advocate to everything her parents had done. She gave Claire more freedom, and let her do things that seemed more trivial than others. Diane taught Claire how to pick locks, how to do oil changes, and anything she wanted to learn. Diane was always keen on figuring out how to do something so she could teach Claire.

They spent a lot of time just talking mostly. They became best friends, but at the age of 13 years, she was recruited by Lupa to go train. It was a leap of faith that Claire took, but she was glad that she took it. Because she ended up going to Camp Jupiter where she would be placed into a cohort.
